NKXC was back in action this week with their final meet of the season. The final meet took place on our home course of Ryan Park.
The girls were up first taking 18 of the top 20 places. Bethany Nunnery went on to break her record from last year on the course by 55 seconds. Emma Sammartino would also break the old record by 6 seconds. The girls finished their season up at 9-0 taking the Southern Division Championship.
The boys followed and fought off a strong Prout squad. Ethan Wyllie stepped up to win his first race. Joe Craven had a strong race with a much needed 3rd place finish. The guys went 3-0 on the day finishing out their season at 9-1.
Both teams will now prepare for the three state championship races.
