The New England Championships - Manchester, New Hampshire

The combined NKXC team through their success at the state race qualified to compete at the New England Championship Meet.  This year's course was held in Manchester New Hampshire which featured a large hill from mile 1 - 2 up part of a ski slope.

The girls team finished in 13th and the boys team finished in 18th.

 The 2013 Rhode Island State Championship

The girls finished in third place and the guys finished in fifth place allowing both teams to qualify to race at the New England championships in New Hampshire. 

In the boys race the top skipper was Dallin Smith with his all state finish of 8th place.  Next was Robbie Rocchio with his all state finish of 20th place.

For the girls the top skipper was Bethany Nunnery with her all state finish of 14th place.

The 2013 Annual Mustache Run

The boys and girls teams wore fake mustaches on a run the day after Halloween for no really good reason.

This is the single most important training run of the season.

Unfortunately the guys took off before pictures were taken but Chris Lenox and Ethan Wyllie both wore their mustaches until they left. 

 

Sophia was saying something important to Coach Tetreault about the soup can collection but it was hard to take her seriously on mustache day.
